Breaking Bad print!

“BREAKING BAD UPON THE MOUNT”

I am super excited and honored to have been asked by Sony/Gallery 1988 to create this painting to celebrate one of the greatest shows to ever be on TV.

I am a huge huge fan of this show, like most people, and going back and reliving all of the amazing moments and characters was a dream come completely true.  I can’t even express how fun it was for me to draw all of these guys.  The painting contains almost every character ever to appear on the show.  My favorites to draw were Todd, Badger, Marie, and the ATM meth addicts.  Most difficult for me to capture was probably Hank and Mike.  Geez what a bunch.

Chris Hardwick revealed this painting on last night’s episode of Talking Bad and said some really nice things.  i love that guy.  You can probably watch the episode online soon.  Anyway,  this print will go on sale on the Breaking Bad website at 12pm EST/9am PST.  Limited to 300.  I hope you like it!  and i hope you enjoy reliving the history of the show with me.

Here are some more detailed pieces from the painting for you to see.

Ok! And we will all be watching that finale together next week won’t we?  Geez louise i am right there with you.

dude… was refreshing breaking bad store site an hour before it went on sale. Clicked at the very second buy now, and was redirected to the gallery1988 site clicked checkout as guest. sold out with in that entire 1 min. If I knew I would have be redirected. I would have made an account on this other site. Im upset this sucks.

  2. Grant says:

Wow, was there waiting hitting refresh every few seconds. The ‘Buy Now’ thing pops to redirect to the Gallery1988 website five minutes late and sold out instantly. Though the Gallery1988 twitter said they still had some available ten minutes after it went live? What gives!?

    Awesome work either way sir!

  3. Eddie says:

Same here dude! Im super bummed out about it to! Was soo looking forward to framing this on my wall!

  4. Mark says:

i was in checkout and it was only 12:01 too lol. to ebay!

  5. Matt K says:

Wow, this print could’ve been easily sold for 3 times as much. Wish I was able to get one, looks like we’re gonna have to find them on ebay now…

  6. Mark says:

just snagged one for 185, and I feel like I got a deal. Still can’t believe they all sold out in less than 1 min!

  7. Zanti says:

ACQUIRED SECONDS AFTER GOING ON SALE! I AM GLOATING!
Also, yeah, you could have easily sold these in the 3 figures if not 4 and still they would have sold out.

  8. Sam says:

I checked out as guest and got one. Seems like I was very lucky! I think that’s all it was. I was surprised the store didn’t crash or even slow down much for me as the print went on sale.

  9. Amanda says:

I got one, it is for sale right now on ebay.

  10. Tati Duarte says:

already sold out :( print some more, pretty please?

  11. Nick says:

Yes, please print some more or open up a waiting list for the orders that get cancelled. If possible, please cancel the orders that end up on ebay !

It is for one unfair for European customers who always find out too late due to the time difference…

Would be more than happy to wait for a copy…

    Redirect to 1988? WTF
Well that was a bummer, I bet some insiders knew what site to be on at the right time. I thought it was breakingbadstore. Nope!
Even though I clicked through the second the button came up it said it was not available.

Why would they make so few for such a large audience in the first place? It was advertised on tv, geez marie, how about a 1000? Come on.
Looks like a bunch of insiders snagged them up just to list on ebay, what a sad joke that is.

  13. Ruhani says:

    aw, I missed it :(

  14. JT says:

Just wondering, how much was the original price?

  15. mrsoul says:

$70 new. now on ebay for 350 +.

I would certainly consider printing a second edition!
Lots more then 300 people wanted one

  16. Gregory says:

Who is the character below and to the left of “Old Joe” — the bearded fellow wearing the red shirt, black jacket, and tan pants? I’ve identified all of the other characters in the print except this one. I was thinking it might be Jack — Todd’s uncle — but there are no tats, cigarette, etc. and Jack wore his hair pulled back in a small pony tail.

Can the artist or anyone else ID this character? Thanks!

  17. Johnny A. says:

They should make another run of the poster even if it’s my numbered. It’s crazy how people are selling them on eBay or $300+

  18. Steve says:

Just got mine in the mail today! Love it! Taking it to get framed tomorrow. Now I’m also a big Scott C. fan.

    • Steve says:

And just a tip for you guys…don’t give up so easily!!

I was on the site at 12pm ready to order and I kept getting a sold out message but I didn’t give up and eventually was able to order one around 12:08pm.

      Persistence is key!

  19. DChurch says:

Can someone that bought one originally tell me if it came with a COA? I finally got one and just wanna make sure it is legit. Thx.
